OUR STORY

Anthony  & Christian have had a passion for  Vegan food for many years.  Always experimenting  with  new   recipes  and  ideas.   They decided  in  August  2021 to begin the search for a suitable unit to  make their dream jobs a reality.  Upon browsing the market we stumbled across The Green Almond for sale and couldn’t believe our favourite restaurant was due to retire.  The timing felt like it was meant to be!
We completed on the purchase of the wonderful Green Almond at Christmas 2021 and began alterations to give it our love.   
We re-opened in February 2022 with a new menu but with Andrew’s famous falafels due to popular demand!
We are a small family business.  Anthony & Christian are the chefs in the kitchen with Stefano part time.  Behind the scenes our Mum makes all the deserts and cakes, Annie does most of the admin.
  Robyn leads front of house and might as well be family as we’ve known him for years – he actually moved down from Manchester just to take on this role as he jumped at the chance to work with us again! 

We recently welcomed Lucie to the team!

We hope you enjoy our restaurant.  Everything is made from scratch with love and we hope this comes across.
